The Russian arms manufacturer Rostec has released a video showcasing the operation of the “Pantsir-ME” naval anti-aircraft missile and artillery system, developed by the High-Precision Complexes group and already integrated into Russian Navy vessels.
According to the state-owned company, the “Pantsir-ME” is supplied in series both for ships under construction and for those already in service. Several units of the Russian fleet are already equipped with the system.

The “Pantsir-ME” operates in fully automatic mode, with the option of operator correction. Built on a modular principle, it can be installed on warships of different classes.
The system is designed to repel massive air attacks and shoot down targets at extremely low altitudes. In addition to neutralizing aerial threats, it can also engage maritime and ground targets, including simultaneously against multiple enemies.
Technology without analogues

According to Rostec, the “Pantsir-ME” is the only system in the world whose turret integrates both high-powered artillery weaponry and multimode missiles. Its radio-optical control system consists of three radars — optical, long-range detection, and target tracking — ensuring full coverage without blind spots.
“There are currently no analogues of this complex in the world. It is unlikely that we will see anything similar in the near future,” the company emphasized in a statement.
